Santa Fe River Trip

See the calendar for Saturday Sept 26. We are meeting up with the Qquaholics to share in this excellent paddle down one of Florida's finest rivers.

One of these days hubby and I will do that trip--- too many things going on right now. But thank you very much for keeping us in mind. :)

Jackie, it is not but a straight shot from Polk. You should venture out on this..It is well worth it.

Thanks for keeping us posted on upcoming trips- this trip would be around 3-4 hours one way- will have to wait for a closer trip- Lake, Orange, Seminole, Volusia, Polk, Tampa area would be best for us- we will keep checking the site. Thank you again for all you do!!!

Hey Dawn I'm off saturday,but not until 0730 that am. Don't think I can make it in a 1/2 hour. Keep posting, I'll keep checking my work calendar. Went to Wekiva (Kings Landing), first trip, Thursday Sept 10. It was a two hour drive. Spent about 4 hours on the river exploring. No shuttle, but there's not much current. Lot's of down tree on the trip down. Saw an otter playing, thought I'd sneak up on him. Him turned out to be a 5 foot gator. No more sneaking up on anything for me. Butt got real sore. Really need to invest in a gel seat. Just wasn't any place to land and strecth. Anyways, hope to see you on the river sometime soon.
