PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

ClubKayak.com and your Palm OS device take you on a mini virtual
kayak trip to Crystal River, Florida USA. This spring-fed river
and associated National Wildlife Refuge is a mecca for paddlers,
scuba divers and the endangered West Indian Manatee.

LEGAL

You have the right to use this application freely and on an
unlimited basis so long as you realize that the author
assumes no responsibility for any damage which this application
might cause you or your handheld device. The application
has been tested as much as possible, but there is always a
chance that a serious bug was overlooked.

You have the right to redistribute this application so long as
all the files originally included with it are also included
in the redistribution unaltered. You may not charge specifically
for this application without permission from the author. A 
general shareware distribution charge may be applied to it if
the charge is not specific to this application.

Unauthorized use, duplication, or distribution is strictly
prohibited by law.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
===============================================================

To install Kayak-Crystal River on your Palm OS(R) device:

1. Verify your Palm OS version by selecting "Info..." from the
   Palm OS Applications menu. Click "Version" button. The top
   line should read "Palm OS(tm) Software v.#.#". You need
   OS 3.5 or newer to run Kayak-Crystal River.

2. On your PC, unzip Kayak-Crystal River. The Palm executable
   is titled "Kayak-CR.prc".

3. Double-click on Kayak-CR.prc to place the application in
   Palm's Install Tool. Optionally, start the Install Tool
   on your PC and select Add... to include the Kayak-CR.prc
   application in the file list window. Click Done.

4. HotSync your Palm OS device.

5. The Kayak-CR application will be placed in your Unfiled folder.

6. You are now ready to run the application.

UNINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
===============================================================

To remove Kayak-Crystal River from your Palm OS device:

1. Select "Delete..." from the Palm OS Applications menu.

2. Scroll down the application list and find "Kayak-CR".

3. Tap on "Kayak-CR" to highlight the application.

4. Tap on the Delete button.

5. Tap on the Yes button to delete the application.

APPLICATION OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
===============================================================

Kayak Crystal River is easy to use. 
Command buttons are located on the blue bar in the center of
the screen. Buttons left to right are:

Trip: Displays your current location and photo of the area.

Info: Gives detailed text on Crystal River.

Map: Displays a map of the area.

People: See a photo of your kayak buddies on this trip.

Left arrow: Go to previous photo.

Home: Restart at beginning of the trip.

Right arrow: Go to next photo.

You can choose to "paddle" between landmarks by pressing the Up and
Down hardware scroll buttons to move the kayaker's arms. Each button
press will move your position 1/4 of a mile.

*** HINT ***
Hold your Palm OS device at least two feet away for best
viewing of the photo.
