PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This program will help you validate credit card numbers based
on prefix, length and check digit algorithm. It cannot tell you
if the number has actually been assigned, is valid or has 
available credit. Information on how credit card numbers are
validated is shown in the (i) help tip area.

You have the right to use this application freely and on an
unlimited basis so long as you realize that the author
assumes no responsibility for any damage which this application
might cause you or your handheld device. The application
has been tested as much as possible, but there is always a
chance that a serious bug was overlooked.

You have the right to redistribute this application so long as
all the files originally included with it are also included
in the redistribution unaltered. You may not charge specifically
for this application without permission from the author. A 
general shareware distribution charge may be applied to it if
the charge is not specific to this application.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
===============================================================

To install CCTester on your Palm OS(R) device:

1. Verify your Palm OS version by selecting "Info..." from the
   Palm OS Applications menu. Click "Version" button. The top
   line should read "Palm OS(tm) Software v.#.#". You need
   OS 3.1 or newer to run CCTester.

2. On your PC, unzip CCTester. The Palm executable
   is titled "CCTester.prc".

3. Double-click on CCTester.prc to place the application in
   Palm's Install Tool. Optionally, start the Install Tool
   on your PC and select Add... to include the CCTester.prc
   application in the file list window. Click Done.

4. HotSync your Palm OS device.

5. The CCTester application will be placed in your Unfiled folder.

6. You are now ready to run the application.

UNINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
===============================================================

To remove CCTester from your Palm OS device:

1. Select "Delete..." from the Palm OS Applications menu.

2. Scroll down the application list and find "CCTester".

3. Tap on "CCTester" to highlight the application.

4. Tap on the Delete button.

5. Tap on the Yes button to delete the application.

APPLICATION OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
===============================================================

CCTester is easy to use. 

To begin, select a Credit Card Type.

Enter the Credit Card Number.

Enter an Expiration Date where MM = 01-12 and YY = 00-99.

Tap on the Test Button. The program will show if the card is
valid or not.

Tap Clear to clear all fields.

Tap Example to show demo credit card data.

The (i) button displays an About screen.
Tap on (i) a second time to see credit card validation parameters.
